Challenge
As CloudSEK's customer base grew, adapting to their workflows became crucial. A key request was integrating with their preferred professionals communication software, namely Microsoft Teams. This platform's seamless interoperability made it a natural fit for our first XVigil-Teams integration.
My responsibilities
I played a key role in developing the CloudSEK and Microsoft Teams integration. Working closely with both teams, I defined user-friendly interfaces that seamlessly integrate CloudSEK's functionalities within the MS Teams environment. I ensured alignment with the communication platform’s design language, resulting in a cohesive and intuitive user experience.
Outcome
A meticulously designed platform integration, seamlessly aligned with the Microsoft Teams design language, addressed the needs of over 30% of our customers. This successful integration, achieved through close collaboration and stakeholder alignment, is now a valuable addition to the Microsoft Teams platform.

💡 Key Learnings
Witnessing the efficiency and consistency offered by Microsoft Teams' design system was instrumental in igniting my passion for building CloudSEK's own design system. This experience, coupled with my exposure to the concept, motivated me to take the initiative and embark on this exciting project.
Collaborating with new stakeholders, particularly those from Microsoft Teams with their established processes, demanded a shift in my approach. I transitioned from the comfort of our internal team dynamic to adapt to their structured workflow, involving defined requirements documents, specific resource allocation, and a unique design presentation approach. This experience broadened my collaboration skills and equipped me to effectively navigate diverse stakeholder landscapes.
